1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the SpeedMind game, mobile applications, website, accounts, memberships, purchases, messaging, and customer support features (collectively, the “Services”). Third-party websites and services may also be governed by their own privacy policies.
2. Data We Collect
- Account and identity data: email address, player ID, display name, avatar, language preferences, login and security-verification status, and information you choose to provide.
- Game and service activity: tracks, progress, scores, challenges, achievements, virtual items and coin records, membership and organization relationships, settings, and feature usage.
- Transaction data: products, orders, refund or dispute status, transaction amounts, and limited payment-method descriptors. Full payment-card details are generally handled directly by payment providers.
- Communications: in-service messages, organization-announcement interactions, reports, support requests, and related delivery and read status.
- Device and technical data: IP address, browser or device type, operating system, language, cookie or session identifiers, request times, crash and diagnostic logs, security events, and approximate network location.
- Data not requested by default: unless a feature clearly explains the need and obtains required permission, we do not request precise location, contacts, photo library, camera, or microphone data.
Data may be provided directly by you, generated when you use the Services, supplied by an associated account member, or returned by payment, app-store, email, security, and infrastructure providers.
3. How We Use Data
We use data to create and protect accounts; provide game, membership, virtual-item, purchase, organization, and messaging features; send verification and service notices; process orders, refunds, disputes, and support requests; preserve preferences and improve reliability; detect fraud, abuse, and security events; comply with legal obligations; and perform product analysis and improvement with consent or as permitted by law.
4. How We Share Data
We share data only as needed with:
- Service providers supporting hosting, storage, email, customer support, analytics, fraud prevention, security, payments, and order processing;
- App stores and platform operators such as Apple, and payment providers selected by the user;
- Authorized members of a family, team, or membership organization when required by that feature;
- Authorities or other parties when legally required or necessary to protect users, the public, SpeedMind, and their rights and safety; and
- Advisers or transaction participants in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
Providers and partners that process user data must provide protection at least equivalent to this Policy under contract and applicable law. They may not use the data for unauthorized independent purposes.
5. Retention
Account and game data is generally retained while the account remains active. Order, payment, dispute, security, and audit records are retained as needed for their purpose and applicable financial, tax, anti-fraud, dispute-resolution, and legal obligations. Support and communication records are retained as needed to resolve requests, maintain safety, and address disputes.
When data is no longer needed, we delete, de-identify, or aggregate it. Residual copies in backups are removed through the backup rotation cycle. Data required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims may be retained longer.
6. Account and Data Deletion
You may use the visible “Delete Account” option in the account or settings area of the SpeedMind app. If that option is not shown in your current version or self-service deletion cannot be completed, sign in to the website, visit Customer Service, choose the account-issues category, and request “deletion of my account and associated data.” If you cannot sign in, first use password recovery.
We may verify account ownership to prevent impersonation. After deletion, the account can no longer be used. Data that must be retained for legal, transaction, or security-audit purposes, and de-identified data, may not be removed immediately. We will explain the result and any categories that must be retained.
7. Children’s Privacy
Children below the age at which they may independently consent to personal-data processing under local law should use the Services only with a parent’s or legal guardian’s consent and supervision. Where applicable, we seek parental consent and limit children’s data to what is necessary to provide the Services, protect safety, and comply with law.
A guardian who believes a child provided personal data without appropriate consent may request deletion using the contact path below. We will take appropriate action after verification. Children should not disclose unnecessary personal information in messages or support content.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on local law, you may have rights to access, correct, download, delete, or restrict processing of personal data; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully performed before withdrawal. Submit requests through account settings or the contact path below. We will verify identity and respond within the period required by applicable law.
9. Security and International Processing
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the risk, including access controls, transport protection, session security, and monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security. Providers or infrastructure may be located outside your country or region; where international processing occurs, we use safeguards required by applicable law.
10. Contact Us
For questions about this Policy, personal-data processing, or privacy rights, sign in to the SpeedMind website and contact us through Customer Service under account issues. Clearly state “deletion of my account and associated data” for deletion requests.
11. Updates
We may update this Policy when our Services, technology, or legal requirements change. We will provide notice of material changes in the Services or by another appropriate method and update the “Last Updated” date above. Unless stated otherwise, an updated Policy takes effect when posted.
